The electronic kalimba reeds produce recorded sounds of 4 instruments (kalimba, piano, guitar and electric guitar) and its lamels acts like press buttons instead of traditional "spring" squeeze. And some problems restricts its usage as a musical instrument:
1) Pressing with a soft finger part, like on piano, is nearly impossible beacuse of small size between lamels. You pressing two or three lamels at once trying to target one only. Nail pressing style is a rough thing, like playing keyboard with wooden stick.
2) Sound volume is fixed, not depending on strength, depth and length of finger movement. It can be only on or off. It is a musical toy concept.
3) Construction is loose and sometimes some lamels begins to play instantly itself or with a press to lamels in very different parts of board.
Interesting idea with a bad realisation. We do not recommend to buy this at all.
