Hokema Sansula Renaissance Electro - the same magical sound, incredible harmonic and melodic kalimba but with kalimba with electric pickup added for sound recording/amplification. Synthetic Remo drum skin is moisture resistant - that is what differs "Renaissance" from "Basic" model. 9 tines provides minimum musical variety and gives maximum simplicity. Default tuning is pentatonic A-minor - no musical science is required. One of the best starting points for beginners or mature musicians, knowing about future limitations of small number of notes.
Sound pickup used in this Sansula has two units: vibration pickup, typical to most kalimbas and acoustic microphone for catching the membrane effects. Output connector is 6.3 TSR Jack. It requires 48V phantom power.
